Enqueue Next by Mark Paschal <markpasc@markpasc.org>

Download Enqueue Next 0.9 (zip)

Enqueue next lets you instruct foobar2000 to play a particular song after the current one. This is similar to Winamp 3's queuing function. Enqueue next is for foobar2000 0.7 beta. (It was compiled with 0.7 beta SDK 15, and tested in fb2k beta 17. Download fb2k 0.7 betas.)

Installing

Unzip the foo_enqueue.dll to your components directory and restart foobar2000.

Using Enqueue Next

Select the songs you want to play (Playlist -> Search... is very useful for this), then right-click the playlist and select "Enqueue next" from the context menu. (A song must be playing for the option to appear.) The selected songs will play after the current song finishes.

If you enqueue more songs while listening to a song you enqueued with Enqueue Next, they will play after all the previously enqueued songs play.

Enqueue Next works by overriding your flow control mode (the Playback -> Order option). When all songs finish, Enqueue Next will return foobar2000 to the previous play mode. You shouldn't directly select the "Enqueue" order; Enqueue Next will automatically select it when you queue songs with the context menu option.
