Re the furrymuck.* domain auction: A Statement From the FurryMuck Wizards. [Flayrah.com] The gist is that the FurryMUCK wizards claim "FurryMUCK" as their common law servicemark, so the domains should be theirs, and they had the eBay auction stopped after contacting the person offering them for auction.
That's orders of magnitude less reprehensible than "some yahoo" stopping the auction for kicks, as Mr Exline's post characterized it; it's not like he knew, of course, since as he said eBay wouldn't tell him whodunnit. I'm still curious how accurate his description of VeRO's Verified-ness is.
And I still don't like FurryMUCK's web page. =)
