So I finally heard this quote today:

It's been making the rounds a little, but I've read enough urban legends to be skeptical of its attribution to Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989,
particularly since neither Google nor AltaVista had any mention of Kristian Wilson
plus Nintendo minus munching magic pills
and the like.
