Here's another article on Douglas Adams, but rather than looking back at his whole life, this article seems to be a report on his last speaking engagement--keynote for an embedded systems conference--with a paragraph about his death on top. The article does well to point out that not only was Adams a renowned speculative comedy author, he was also passionate about technology in the here and now, a geek's geek who was paying close attention to current developments. His keynote discussed micropayments and decentralization issues, which is why I have Jim Carrico on the decentralization list to thank for pointing it out.
