O Scoble, where art thou?

Even through Dave's lovable bombast (and habit of turning all Minitrue, but that's the live nature of a weblog I guess), this sounds worryingly peculiar:

What... happened to Scoble? He pieced together the tea-leaves on Microsoft's interest in open source. And he got the story right, even down to the O'Reilly connection, and no doubt this embarassed Microsoft. Now there hasn't been an update to his weblog since Tuesday. I called Scoble to find out what happened and he said "I can't talk about it, Dave." ...
Folks, this is the software industry as dominated by Microsoft. Don't be right about them, or else. In the current business environment that kind of threat carries a lot more weight. This is why I don't fear Microsoft. They don't love weblogs and amateur journalism and they don't stand for free expression. That Scoble uses their tools to tell his story, that he promotes their products, makes no difference. If they've got a lever, they don't hesitate to pull it, for any reason.
