Tennessee ballot bill will become law, reports AP via The Tennessean. Gov. Don Sundquist is letting legislation creating a statewide
standard for recounting punch-card ballots become law today without
his signature. Sundquist opposed the bill as it moved through the
General Assembly, but he said the sponsor, Sen. Steve Cohen, answered
enough of his concerns to prevent his veto.
Also in TN news, The Princeton Review rates UTK the top party school and, yesterday, Same-sex homes go up in census. [thanks, Stateline: TN]
