We had a meeting for our flightsim project yesterday--I managed to not screw up and forget it, too, though I skipped a class just to make sure.
The weird thing was Dawn wanted to understand flight a bit more, so Dr Andy had a paper model of an airplane and showed us how airflight works (though I read Bernoulli's Principle isn't necessarily the right mechanism--but Dr Andy regaled us with an anecdote about gliders, so he obviously knows much more about flight than I).
It was strange learning yesterday how planes fly, for the obvious reason.
