Well, I figured out why I hadn't seen anything out of my Stapler feeds for a while: in tinkering for 1.7, I emptied out each feed's sources. So while Stapler kept obediently scraping each source, the feeds noticed nothing new and didn't write new files. D'er.
Better mine than yours, eh?
