The Bat!'s text editor uses a "free caret" or "virtual space" method which allows you to place the cursor anywhere within the edit window and start typing. This is of great benefit for formatting tables and putting information in columns.
I guess there's no way to make it, like, not do that. TextPad is nice enough to offer that option, but The Bat!'s cup of configuration runneth over so much, I probably couldn't find the option even were it there.
Maybe it'll redeem itself enough, though.
