PJ Harvey wins Mercury prize, sayeth the BBC:
PJ Harvey has won the most wide-open Mercury music prize for many years and is the first female artist to have won the title in its 10-year history.
Neat, but I mainly mention it since I found out she wrote the songs Faith (Juliette Lewis) sings in Strange Days.
Also, it wasn't until I read, The singer is trapped in Washington DC, following the recent terrorist attacks in the US,
that I realized this isn't a current article: it's dated 11 September. Why did NewsBlip post it now?
