The Wired News article on anime is basically saying, "Anime's still cool," so of course I'd rather link to Four words that could ruin anime: "The Next Big Thing" from Plastic. That and sites reporting how WB ruined Card Captor Sakura took my enthusiasm out of the show (I can't find the blow-by-blow episode guide I read, so this (which may be that original site revamped) and that will have to do).
Of course, I'm not in-to anime, mainly because it's not casually acquirable for someone with my lack of subcultural exposure in a place like Chattanooga. Bias, bias. I can appreciate calculon's comment:
I tried to get into anime, but found it was full of anime fans.
