- Book: Flyboy Action Figure Comes With Gasmask by Jim Munroe. I read the ebook, which was good. Actually, I also already received and read his Everyone in Silico, which was also good! Read it in a weekend (and mostly in one sitting).
- "Island in the Sun" by Weezer, from that Travel Channel ad. Never actually acquired a copy of the song.
- Book: Digital 3D Design by Simon Danaher. It wasn't that great a book, but it has nice pictures, and it explained nicely what bones and splines are (though the Animation:Master text we have does too, I just skipped that part).
- Surrender by Sarah McLachlan. Listened to this in the car, erranding with parent one sunny weekend afternoon (one of the first warm ones). Nice.
- Book: The Future of Ideas by Lawrence Lessig. I mentioned it a couple times; good. A barrister's and lecturer's explanation of the straits we're in with corporate-owned culture.
- Book: Seek! by Rudy Rucker. Finally got it finished. I didn't enjoy it as much as Gnarl! but it had its good stories. Worth checking out and reading the good stories, at least.
- "Tilt-A-Whirl" by Masters of Reality. Just some catchy song; never tracked it down.
- Some jazzy Ani DiFranco song. I only heard it the once, but it sure was purdy.
