Pleasant DV geeking from Robert X. Cringely, about a downloadable (not streamed) tv show they're doing. Wonder if they'll have an RSS enclosure feed. The show is apparently a spiritual heir to Cringely's PBS entity "Triumph of the Nerds," the DVD of which is also discussed. (IIRC the show featured some shots of Netscape offices, including someone's monitor with the Unamerican Activities sticker "Microsoft must die" on it.) The net show will be in several formats ("for nerds, one for suits, and... all the raw footage so you can edit your own version") and GPLed (for some value of "GPL" since the GNU GPL is for software, not media, I thought).
I'm stiiill waiting for high-profile uses of BitTorrent or P2P file-sharing networks.
