Yeah, so you heard Mozilla 1.2 has type-ahead find. Did you hear it prefetches "next" and "prefetch" links in the header? (The real question is, is it a good thing?)
Nice comment about preferences at the bottom of the FAQ:
Ultimately, I think we will probably end up with a visible user preference [to disable prefetching] just because that seems to make people feel comfortable. But, in the end it only partially solves the problem people think it solves :-/
