I like the easy route to accessible web text, but the rest is still great to know. "Be sure to check out Hoopla's Advent Calendar 2002," writes tigerbunny, while madamjujujive of MetaFilter links others. I was going to recommend the 2002 Perl Advent Calendar to Ink, but it's apparently for more experienced folk. Some interesting discussion on programming technique going on; a couple handles are Russel Beattie's and Charles Miller's posts. (I taped this posts of Charles' and its preceder to the wall last LUG lecture we had, but it came down pretty quick. It was outside instead of actually in a lab, for one.)
