MTCatEntries

Ah, Sunday morning. Late night (like last week) listening to DJ McFox's Gamecast. This time he didn't have his usual relay, so when I tried to listen, the server was full. As I had the extra bandwidth (I was only on the family DSL machine to listen--my other tasks would've been adequately served with my 28.8 dialup) and was chatting at him online, I grabbed the Shoutcast server, set and vetted the options, and ran a relay for him. Much, much easy. After that I listened to SomaFM's Beat Blender a while.

Net radio is the reason to have broadband.

So now I'm off to read some more of my egregiously overdue library book, The Year's Best Science Fiction #19. Meanwhile you get to play with MTCatEntries, if you care to. It's the plugin I mentioned the other day for saying <MTEntries category="NOT Mice">, which you could say now but wouldn't work. I'm using it now, in the blue box at the top of the index page you don't see in the RSS feed. I'm going to send the discussion threads I'm in to my quick links weblog, so I can have something like the "Threads" outline sidebar I had when I weblogged with Radio.

(Oh, and another stupid RandomOTDEntry fix. It worked before then suddenly didn't. Geez.)

Anyway, it was a few minutes in the debugging, but it seems to work great so far. Maybe it will for you.
