It's really the loss of hope that has infected people's consciousness. There's no fear, really there's not.... People are going about their business without jumping at the sound of backfiring trucks. They're just morose if they stop to think about almost anything.
It's all so grey these days. I'd rattle on about it but, geez, you folks already know this at least as well as I do. I'll just try to get some schoolwork done.
