I finally started reading Smart Mobs, unfortunately when my time would've been better spent studying for a test in BMGT311 Operations Management tomorrow. Of course, the time I spent in BACC305 Cost Accounting would've been as well, but I already missed once and if I sufficiently attend, I don't have to take the comprehensive final exam. (The professor basically told us to make sure we attend sufficiently, which admittedly isn't bad advice in general.) I wish I'd realized the trick to getting me to attend class was to take the sections that meet only once a week, so I can't afford to miss more than once (which I've already done in both of those classes).
So anyway, here's an OpenP2P.com interview with Rheingold about the book. Read it instead of doing something important. Then we'll be even.
The start of Smart Mobs makes me want to write a little boring fiction to explore/explain some neat technological bits, but where am I going to find time for that?
