I'm cleaning out my Radio subscriptions list, and adding some good sites I subscribe to to my blo.gs favorites list. With them in the list, they'll show up in the sidebar if they're in the seven most recently updated weblogs in my list when I update.
I would also get their notifications by IM if that service worked. I don't know if it was blo.gs having trouble keeping connected to AIM or what, but it pretty well stopped, so I don't run my pinger anymore. So maybe it works again but I haven't noticed. I would go back to using blo.gs through Y!M, but there's no Python module for it, and I'd have to make a special Y!M account for it.
Anyway:
- What happened to Karl-Peter Gottschalk?
- Why don't the Plastic feeds work in Radio?
- I didn't realize Radio didn't keep up with the moves of Sylvain Carle, Pascale Soleil, and Jeffrey Shell. (I still read Sylvain even though I'm a poor unfortunate monoglot, yes.)
- None of DJ, Merlin Mann's Exploding Stove, Massless, Richard Jones, and GameCritics.com ping blo.gs. Which is a gosh darn shame.

Garsh, I’d told my little robot to ping the usual suspects. Dunno why no worky. Thanks for the heads-up, Chief.

I’ve been so caught. (Hi, Mark.) I’ve been lagging terribly since I’m not using Movable Type or Radio and would have to write my own Trackback or ping service. Agh…I’m so 2001! I’ll try and write that this week.

yes, pushing pings through aim has proven to be totally unreliable. i get the impression that aim is distinctly bot-unfriendly unless you’re willing to break out the cabbage.
