Think I may have stumbled over a problem with the new squid 2.5.STABLE3 for Debian 3: some long MT forms come out randomly incomplete. It sounds a lot like this issue with Transfer-Encoding: chunked; the page does in fact give me a Transfer-Encoding: chunked header when not using the proxy, but that mail's from more than a year ago and it's been acting fine before. There are no Squid bugs about "transfer-encoding." Maybe it regressed and nobody noticed yet.
Brian didn't see the problem with Mozilla 1.3, though, so I don't know if it's a combination Firebird/20030712 squid/2.5.STABLE3 bug or what. For now I've put markpasc.org in my proxy exceptions, so I won't have the problem there. Trying to debug such a thing gives me the willies. (Well, maybe not so much if I could ever have gotten netcat to work on Windows, but eh.)
