I've found some JavaScript doodads on various web sites broken in Firefox 0.8:
- LiveJournal's friends group editor (clicking the ">>" button removes the selected friend from the left list but doesn't add it to the one on the right).
- Mapblast (the "Search" tab when entering addresses for driving directions).
- Movable Type (in Edit Templates, the "EDIT" button for any comments-related template)
Luckily I installed the JavaScript console so I can see the error message. For MT, it's:
Security Error: Content at http://www.example.com/mt/mt.cgi?__mode=list&_type=template&blog_id=1 may not load or link to chrome://browser/mt/mt.cgi?__mode=view&_type=template&blog_id=1&id=9.
So, uh... oops?

I’ve been getting tons of odd results with Javascript (links, and alerts that sometimes do and sometimes don’t return), but I’ve been blaming it on TBE, the poor whipping-boy for everything wrong. I even went so far as to remove TBE at work (accompanied by much whimpering every time I realize that I can’t undo close tab). Don’t know yet whether it’s solved my (intermittent, even within one instance of displaying one page) problem yet, but I do know the withdrawl isn’t fun, so I’d sure like to blame it on Firetruck instead of Piro.

That works for me… maybe it’s a broken extension you have installed, like Phil said?

Ohhh, Tabbrowser Extensions. Yeah, sounds like it is TBE, oops.

What is annoying me most is that it affect bloglines. I can’t open a folder group anymore. Definately TBE, though.
